TfL
|
In 2001, after a stint in the world of chartered accountancy, Matthew began his career in public transport at London Underground, initially working on their aborted London Underground Property Partnership. Over the next 5 years he worked on PFI contracts, and then returned to property to establish Transport for London’s new Property Development team. In 2010 he joined Fares & Ticketing to focus on commercially exploiting the TfL ticket collection system in transport markets outside of London. He is also the Senior Responsible Officer for the procurement of TfL’s Ticket Service Contract (Electra), a £1bn 10 year service contract and sits on the Board of the South East Flexible Ticketing (SEFT) supporting the DfT and the Rail Industry on their goals for smart ticketing. Following 10 years in Transport Infrastructure and Property Development, in 2010 M Hudson joined the Fares & Ticketing Team in TfL. He has led the reprocurement of TfL’s ticketing services contract, a 10 year £1bn procurement, and developed a new business service unit for supporting fare collection schemes outside of London. He delivered the transport ticketing requirement for the London Olympics and sits on the DfT led board of the South Eastern Flexible Ticketing project. |
