2014/2006 - Chairman of the Board of OTLIS, ACE - Operadores de Transportes de Lisboa,  the consortium of mass transit operators, responsible for developing and managing the interoperable and intermodal  Contactless Ticketing System VIVA;

2008/2005  - CEO of REFER Engineering SA, company hold by REFER, the Portuguese railway infrastructure operator;

2004/1998 - Member of the Board of Administration of Metropolitano de Lisboa, EP, the Lisbon underground operator (Metro);

2004/2000 - Member of the UITP Transport Economics Commission (TEC)

2003/1998 – Board of Administration of  several companies staked by Metropolitano de Lisboa (FERNAVE SA, ENSITRANS AEIE, METROCOM SA, OTLIS ACE, ASSER ACE);

2003/1999 – Coordination of the Metro of Lisbon Contactless System Project and the Contactless Lisbon Region Smart Card (Lisboa VIVA Card).
