Patricia Rullán is a Senior Specialist in ESIA and PPP with more than 22 years of experience in the environmental and climate change sector. Previously serving as the Environmental Manager for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean for a decade, Ms. Rullán accumulated extensive knowledge and experience in navigating challenging and evolving environmental and climate scenarios. Her exemplary work led to her current role as the head of the Sustainability and Environmental Evaluation Division at TYPSA. Patrica is well stablished expert for her ability to integrate technical, economic, and environmental considerations in major linear infrastructure development. For example, she participated in the "Supervision of the drafting of the 'Tren Maya' preliminary project, in Mexico, and the " Update of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, and Resettlement Plan for the Line 2C Project of the Santo Domingo Metro” in the Dominican Republic. Throughout her extensive career, she has played a pivotal role as a senior environmental specialist in a myriad of infrastructure projects, working in a wide range of areas and activities, such as environmental Due diligence, Strategic Environmental Assessment; Environmental Impact Assessment and design of mitigation measures, environmental monitoring of construction sites, Sustainable land use and planning, Natural resources management, etc. Moreover, in recent years, Patricia has started a new path in the world of sustainability, offering climate change advisory services, both to private and public clients, to help them understand the environmental and climate risks linked to infrastructure projects and showing them the benefits of increase the resilience of infrastructures by incorporating climate change mitigation and adaptation measures and nature-based solutions, including hybrid approaches that combine engineered solutions with ecosystem-based solutions.
