Guy Dangerfield, Strategy Director, Transport Focus

Guy Dangerfield is Head of Strategy at Transport Focus, the independent consumer watchdog representing the interests of transport users in Great Britain.  Guy has been with Transport Focus and its predecessor organisations since 1998 and leads the watchdog’s work to improve how the rail industry manages planned and unplanned service disruption; to input users’ requirements to five year ‘regulatory periods’ on rail and road; and to improve the experience of those using the motorways in England.  He has previously led the organisation’s work to reduce the impact of delays and disruption on bus passengers, to improve the transparency of train performance information and to highlight passenger frustration with rail fares and ticketing

Participants are asked to introduce themselves to the table, and then as a group, they brainstorm and produce their suggestions on what technology would work best for them. After 35 minutes, there is one rotation, so participants can join two tables during the session.
