What is the World Rail Festival 2019?
 

The World Rail Festival is a world leading event that attracts global public transport operators to Amsterdam. Over 800 attendees join us to discuss commercial strategy, digital transformation, next generation ticketing, customer experience, revenue management, MaaS and smart mobility, stations, connectivity, real time information in the rail, bus and urban mobility sectors. When and where is the event?

World Rail Festival 2019 is being held between Tuesday 3rd December – Thursday 5th December 2019.

The conference has a pre-conference workshop day on Tuesday 3rd December 2019, with the main conference occurring on Wednesday 4th – Thursday 5th December 2019.

The free to attend exhibition is open on Thursday 5th – Friday 6th September 2019.

The event is being held in central Amsterdam at the Beurs Van Berlage.

 

How do I get there?

The event is taking place in central Amsterdam.

The venue is well connected with public transport readily available. Amsterdam Central station is just a 6-minute walk to the venue.

Who else is going to be there?

How much are tickets?

The final ticket price is €2345 but you can save a significant amount by booking early. The earlier you book the cheaper your ticket will be!

How do I receive my ticket?

Once you have completed your booking, you will receive your ticket via email straight away. If you have not received your confirmation email, please check your spam folder or contact a team member here. In the lead up to the festival we will also keep you updated with any news via email.

 

Where do I get my badge to enter the show?

Your badge will be sent a few days before the show via a QR code. You can also attend the show by showing your business card and identification that will confirm your registration. Please print your badge before you attend to skip the main queue.

Can students attend the show?

World Rail Festival is aimed at a senior audience of rail professionals. However, the event is open to anyone who purchases a ticket.

 

Will there be security at the event?

We take the safety of our visitors very seriously and there will be security present at many points at the venue. You must always have a badge on you to be at the event.

 

Is there a dress code?

Our attendees typically dress in business attire, however, feel free to come as you are and what makes you feel comfortable.

 

Will there be food?

There will be a café at the show serving food and beverages.
