Dr van’t Hoff took up the NHS Engagement role with the NIHR Clinical Research Network in spring 2016, bringing with him significant clinical and research expertise from his career in the NHS. He continues as Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist and Head of the Clinical Research Facility at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust, roles he holds alongside his part-time role with the NIHR Clinical Research Network.

His ongoing involvement in research and engagement with children and young people in improving research has led to the creation of GenerationR, an innovative collaboration of young people participating in research and actively shaping the way research is planned and conducted.
