Susan Kargel is the founder of SJKargel Consulting LLC™, a boutique consulting firm specializing in strengthening the business resilience of third-party logistics providers, customs brokers, and related service organizations. Our focus is on helping functional teams develop realistic, scalable contingency plans that support partial functionality during the often complex and prolonged system restoration process following a significant technological disruption. Susan brings over 40 years of experience in third-party logistics, including direct cyberattack experience at a major 3PL. During this incident, she played a key role in global customs recovery and retrospective teams and was responsible for integrating lessons learned into the Operational Readiness Framework and contingency playbook.
