Santosh Sankar is co-founder & managing partner of Dynamo Ventures. Dynamo is a first-check supply chain technology investor with a focus on pre-seed and seed-stage investments.
Sankar has led seed investments in supply chain disruptors including Stord in warehousing and distribution now worth >$1B, Gatik AI in autonomous middle mile logistics valued at 60x the initial investment, and more recently, Solvento which provides financial infrastructure and credit to truckers in Mexico. He also serves as a board director for multiple technology companies.
Sankar started his entrepreneurial journey when he was 13, starting Razor Studios, which offered IT support and web development services for small businesses. At Penn State, he co-founded a media business called Bullish Bankers, which published fundamental analysis on select public equities and provided economic commentary to students aspiring to build a career in finance. After graduating from Penn State Smeal, he spent five years on Wall Street in banking and public equities before he teamed up with his partners to launch Dynamo Ventures in 2016.
Santosh has been recognized as one of Forbes' 30 Under 30 for Venture Capital and its “Big Money” list. He is a frequent speaker on supply member of the prestigious Kauffman Fellowship program, an executive education initiative focused on developing leaders in venture capital and innovation. In addition to his investments, Santosh is a frequent speaker at industry events and has contributed insights to leading publications on venture capital and technology.
