Ryan McCourt is a seasoned transportation leader, boasting a rich career that spans over fifteen years in the industry. He currently holds the position of Director of Transportation Operations at CORT Business Services, a Berkshire Hathaway Company. CORT is the world's largest provider of furniture rental, trade show and event furnishings, as well as relocation and transition services. CORT's reach extends across the US and the UK, and its proprietary global network spreads over 80 countries worldwide. In his role, Ryan manages a diverse range of operations, including Ocean, Truckload, LTL, Private Fleet, and Central Dispatching. He utilizes his extensive experience leading teams across various companies to collaborate effectively with carriers, forwarders, and industry leaders, all while building result-oriented teams. Ryan is an alumnus of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his B.A. in Political Science. He is currently finalizing his M.S. in Leadership from Boston College. His core mission at CORT is to standardize and optimize transportation processes, from vendor overseas to the white glove delivery service. Ryan's commitment to driving meaningful change through continuous improvement is a key factor in the success of a rapidly growing transportation operation. His leadership approach is firmly rooted in his belief in making strategic, data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and productivity.
