Mary O'connell is a former pricing analyst, supply chain planner, and broker/dispatcher turned creator of the newsletter and podcast Check Call and host of Running on Ice. She has over 10 years of supply chain experience with stints in agriculture, bulky freight and food and beverage. Her podcast Check Call gives insights into the world around 3PLs and freight brokers. While the show Running on Ice is about all things cold chain. She has been with Freightwaves for four years and has grown both communities to great success. She finally gets to combine her love of marketing and supply chain while gettting to do the best thing of all which is talk to people about anything and everyting. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing from Southeast Missouri State University.
