Veronika is Medical Director at MSD, where she oversees vaccine programs from protocol design through global regulatory submissions and approval readiness. Since joining MSD in 2018 she has led multiple vaccine trials across diverse populations and regions, coordinating cross‑functional teams and external partners to deliver programs on time and within best quality standards.
Trained as a physician, Veronika earned her Medical Degree from State Medical University in Belarus. Early in her career she worked as an investigator in dermatology, running immunotherapy studies for patients with severe autoimmune diseases like Psoriasis, RA and IBD. That hands‑on clinical experience shaped her patient‑centric approach to trial design and problem solving.
Before joining MSD she led clinical development activities at Novartis and Merck KGaA, managing trials of monoclonal antibodies and biosimilars across multiple therapeutic areas.
Alongside her scientific and operational roles, Veronika mentors junior colleagues in project leadership and has led initiatives to translate scientific ideas into feasible development plans with extensive use of AI.
With more than 13 years of experience in clinical development, Veronika is an author on multiple publications in immunology and vaccinology and remains actively involved in advancing vaccine science while fostering practical, business‑minded solutions to accelerate development.
