Marc Steinmeyer, Founder & President Director of Tauzia Hotel Management, established in 2001 and has since 2002, pioneered hotel concepts in Indonesia such as Harris Hotels – A lifestyle and trendy midscale hotel; Preference Hotels – A label for a collection of exceptional charm hotels; POP! Hotels – A budget hotel for smart & eco-friendly travellers and Yello Hotels – The netizens’ new economic hotel.
Tauzia Hotel Management has also signed a master franchise agreement for ASEAN countries with Worldhotels. In addition to hotel management, Tauzia provides estate management and consulting services. Tauzia Hotel Management will operate more than 100 properties across Indonesia by 2016.
Marc has a long track record in the hospitality industry after having worked for over 20 years in executive positions at Accor, specialising in operations, human resources and development in Europe and Asia. In 2009, Marc was awarded the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award for Outstanding Entrepreneurship Award. He currently serves as Vice President to the Conseillers du Commerce Exterieur (CCE) – Section Indonesie, as well as being engaged as a Member of the Asian Tourism Leaders’ Summit, hosted by the Singapore Tourism Board. |
