Ranvir is currently and Investment Manager with GC Angels (GCA): GCA is an early-stage, agnostic investor into companies based in Greater Manchester. With its own fund (funded by GMCA) combined with access to a wide range of Angel Investors, GCA participates in pre-seed and seed rounds from £250k - £1.5m. Previous to working at GCA, Ranvir gained a law degree from Oxford University, a Masters in Law from the University of Manchester and an MBA from Alliance Business School. He qualified as a solicitor from a top US law firm in London and then worked for 6 years as an equities trader at Deutsche Bank and Royal Bank of Canada before founding his own SaaS co with £250k of angel investment. He exited after a successful Series A round which valued the company at £12m. After exiting, Ranvir went on to grow his investment experience across the entire funding pathway - including being an angel investor into several businesses, an M&A sell-side advisor with GP Bullhound (dealing with raises of £20m+) and an Innovate UK advisor and grant assessor for early-stage businesses. He is also a passionate foodie and reached the semi-finals of BBC's MasterChef in 2015. He refused to comment on any questions we asked him regarding Greg Wallace. ;-)
