Rachel Kennedy
Programme Manager, Health and Social Care, techUK
Rachel Kennedy is a Programme Manager in the Health and Social Care team at techUK, where she works to foster collaboration between the digital health and life sciences sectors and the relevant stakeholders, regulators and decision makers. She joined techUK in December 2024, bringing extensive experience in public affairs, stakeholder engagement, and policy.
Prior to joining techUK, Rachel worked at PLMR Healthcomms, a specialist health and social care public affairs agency, where she managed accounts across the medical technology, pharmaceutical, and public health sectors. She successfully engaged with key policymakers, delivered multiple events across Westmisnter and played a vital role in developing stakeholder relationships for various trade associations, multinational corporations and coalitions. Rachel also led the company’s social media and marketing strategy, driving brand growth and engagement.
In addition, Rachel was part of the Secretariat for several health and care-focused All-Party Parliamentary Groups, supporting policy development and facilitating high-level discussions between parliamentarians and industry leaders.
Rachel holds a Master’s in Global Governance and Diplomacy from the University of Leeds and a first-class honours degree in Politics from Newcastle University.
