Driven to make a distinct difference, helping organisations, teams, individuals, and communities to thrive. Nicki was a technologist for over 30 years, and senior leader for almost 20 of those, including as leader of the Architecture team at the British Library, Head of IS Strategy and Digital Services at Electricity North West, and Chief Technology Officer at the legal and finanical services organisation Irwin Mitchell. She has a passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and supporting social mobility. During 2023 and 2024 she switched her career to focus on helping improve the life outcomes of large numbers of young people through educational initiatives and industry engagement whilst working for STEM Learning. She worked with hundreds of businesses each year to help them introduce school engagement and social value delivery programmes into their strategic workforce and ESG plans. In November 2024 she began to care for her parents full time whilst maintaining her roles as a performance coach, DEI advocate, Non Executive Director for Great Places Housing Group, and as an Advisory Board member around a fair route to achieving Net Zero for Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks.
