Keith Churchill, Lead Architect - network orchestration & automation, CityFibre

As an infrastructure and network engineering leader with over 26 years in the industry, Keith is an expert and trusted advisor in designing, automating and optimising large-scale networks.

In his current role he is responsible for driving operational excellence and leading the company’s ever-deepening commitment to network automation for maximum network stability, best customer outcomes, and ultimately, the delivery of a world class network for the UK.

Across his career, Keith has delivered automation frameworks that improve testing regimes and network performance to drive operational efficiency. This includes completing the full automation of CityFibre’s own testing environment in 2024.

Keith’s expertise spans multi-cloud environments, high-availability microservices and software-defined networking (SDN). He has led initiatives to implement machine learning models for network anomaly detection, developed real-time network availability metrics, and influenced SD-WAN product evolution for edge computing.

Keith is especially passionate about cross-functional collaboration and bridging technical and business objectives to drive strategic outcomes.
