Edward is responsible for leading techUK's work on the digital economy, as well as wider economic policy. This includes techUK's work on the industrial strategy, spending review and budget submissions, as well as other aspects of policy linked to the wider economy, such as encouraging the adoption of new technology and attracting investment into the UK.  Prior to working at techUK, he worked in research and public affairs, and is a former civil servant.
