Daniel Heery | Director
Cybermoor

Daniel Heery, Director, Cybermoor

In 2003 Daniel set up Cybermoor in the North Pennines, the first rural broadband co-op in the country and has since delivered ground breaking projects to bring fixed and mobile connectivity to some of the most challenging parts of the UK.  Recent 5G trials in Cumbria, Yorkshire and Blackpool have addressed the commercial and technical challenges head on – delivering real societal benefits.  He was a founder member of Independent Networks Co-operative Association and Networks.coop and is a Director of both organisations.  In 2018 he set up Charge my Street, a new social enterprise delivering electric vehicle charging points for people without driveways.  He is the Vice Chair of Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnership and is based.
