Bryant Clayton, Broadband Development Office Director, Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts

Bryant Clayton serves as the Broadband Development Office director. Clayton first joined the Comptroller’s office in 2011. He most recently served as assistant director of the Unclaimed Property Division. There, he and his team implemented an award-winning online application allowing Texans to find and reclaim record-setting amounts of property. Before that, Clayton worked in the Comptroller’s historically underutilized business and cooperative purchasing programs. A trusted leader, he has represented the agency in front of legislative bodies, at statewide commission hearings and in interviews with local and national news outlets. Clayton previously worked in the banking sector in Texas and California and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University – Fullerton.
