Erin Fitzgerald Dobozy joined NRECA as a Regulatory Affairs Director for Broadband in June 2025. A native North Dakotan, Erin’s parents and grandparents were members of McLean Electric Cooperative, Inc. for more than fifty years. Erin joined NRECA from the Federal Communications Commission, where she served as an Attorney Advisor in the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau's Broadband Division. Prior to her time at the FCC, she represented rural telephone cooperatives and other broadband service providers in private practice at Latham & Watkins and Womble Bond Dickinson. She was also Regulatory Counsel to the Rural Wireless Association. Erin began her career in the United States Senate as a Telecommunications Legislative Assistant for Senator Kent Conrad. Erin is a graduate of Concordia College - Moorhead, MN and the University of Wisconsin Law School. She lives in Arlington, VA with her husband, Michael, and two young children, Eleanor and Arthur.
