As the Vice President Consumer Sales for Quantum Fiber, Dan O’Connell leads the Connected Communities team of sales, marketing, engineering, enablement, and support professionals. This team is responsible for securing bulk and marketing agreements with residential developers, owners, and management companies as well as designing and implementing tailored internet solutions for multifamily properties and communities. Dan joined Quantum Fiber (then CenturyLink) in November 2018, bringing more than 30-years’ experience in telecommunications and cable, the last twenty of which have been in senior leadership roles serving the residential housing market with some of the nation’s largest service providers. He earned his MBA from Loyola University of Chicago and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Catholic University of America. Dan is a former President of the Fiber to the Home Council (now known as Fiber Broadband Association). As a speaker at the Broadband Communities Summit 2025, Dan will share his perspectives on the future of high-speed internet and how to meet the growing demand for fast, reliable connectivity.
