Janice Antonson joined North Queensland Airports in June 2012 bringing with her extensive aviation experience which includes working with airlines, airports and tourism organisations worldwide.

Janice’s previous roles have included Head of Marketing & Aviation at Edinburgh Airport with British Airports Authority, she was Vice President of the Nassau Airport Development in the Bahamas and Manager of Aviation Marketing for the Vancouver International Airport Authority. She is past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and also served as Chair of PATA’s International Air Carrier Committee.

As General Manager of both Cairns and Mackay Airports in Tropical North Queensland she leads a team that is responsible for air service development and commercial and aeronautical marketing.
