Mark St John Qualter | Head of Artificial Intelligence, Commercial and Private Banking

Mark is currently Head of Artificial Intelligence, Commercial & Private Banking at RBS.  Prior to this he designed and led a project which successfully transformed the Bank’s SME real estate lending proposition.   
 
Mark has held a number of other roles since joining RBS in 2001 including Head of Strategy of the Customer Solutions Group (“CSG”) the specialist product division of RBS’s Corporate Banking Division, Director of Strategy for RBS Invoice Finance, UK Head of Corporate Invoice Finance, Managing Director North of England Real Estate and Regional Director, Corporate Banking for Yorkshire and Humberside.
 
He is currently a governor of Manchester Metropolitan University, Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nominations and Governance Committee.  Mark was also a member of the Yorkshire and Humberside Regional Council for the CBI
 
Mark has an MBA from Manchester Business School and a BA (Hons) in Hindi and Sinhalese from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. 
 
His interests are street, documentary and portrait photography, travel and KravMaga.
