NB. All nominations submitted will be judged against their relevance to a timescale of March 01, 2010 to March 01, 2011. Submissions relating to activities outside of this 1 year timescale will not be put forward to the judging panel.

Summary: To identify a metro who has gone the extra mile in improving their metro network in the past year.

Judges will be looking for:

• Dramatic improvements in terms of network coverage, frequency and efficiency of service
• A drastic increase in ridership levels
• An increase in customer service levels and increased value for money
• Constantly looking to improve overall condition and amenities
• Increased levels of access, safety and security
• Commitment to delivering greater technological innovation and ambitious yet realistic plans for the future
