Best social media strategy

 

Open to: All customer facing brands operating in the Middle East, Central and South Asia and North Africa.  

The Middle East will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - GCC countries (to include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates), Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Palestine Territories and Turkey. 

Central and South Asia will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

North Africa will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, Libya and Mauritania.

 

About this category:  

This award recognises the company that has designed and implemented the most effective and successful social media strategy in the last year. 
 
The judges are looking for company that have repositioned their businesses by harnessing the potential of social media. 
 
In order to participate the company must have proven to serve their customers’ needs on multiple social channels, utilised social media as a marketing channel and successfully developed and enhanced their brand presence. 
This category will also look for the social media campaign that has best leveraged shareable, buzzworthy content that has gone viral.

 

Criteria: 

Entrants will be judged on their answers to the following questions: (Answers to each question will be cut off after 250 words) 

  1. What channels do you currently have a social media presence on (please provide URLs)
  2. How has your social media strategy translated into increased revenue and how have you measured ROI
  3. How have you used social media platforms to promote and market your product in innovative and creative ways
  4. Describe the reach of your social media presence, how many shares have you had and how did that convert into new customers  (Use figures / percentages)
  5. How do you use social media as a contact centre
  6. How have you used social media for engaging and retaining customers
  7. How much data are you capturing on a monthly basis and how are you utilising it
  8. What 3 features of your social media strategy make your company stand out from the competition?
