Clarisse Ingabire is a Livestock Specialist at the World Bank, based in Washington, D.C., where she leads efforts to advance One Health, climate-smart livestock, and sustainable animal health systems. She plays a central role in driving policy dialogue, technical assistance, and investment mobilization to support transformative, sustainable livestock development in client countries. Clarisse holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a Master’s in Public Health from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar. She brings over 15 years of experience in shaping policies and programs that connect animal health to broader public health and climate resilience goals.
