Glenda Crosling is Head of the Centre for Higher Education Research, leading the university in research and scholarly activities related to higher education development. Professor Crosling was previously Dean of Academic Enhancement at the university, and inaugural Director of Education Quality and Innovation at Monash University Malaysia. Glenda has been awarded the prestigious Jeffrey Cheah Travel Grant to visit Harvard University, USA and is an active member of educational quality panels internationally, including in Australia, Malaysia and Oman. She has been visiting scholar in universities in China, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong, and has chaired Expert Panels for the development of national guidelines for the Malaysian Qualifications Agency. Glenda was also an Executive Committee Member and Chair, Education Sub Committee for the Malaysia Australia Business Council from 2009 to 2017. Her authored and edited books, chapters and journal articles are well-cited, and she has been invited as conference keynote and plenary speaker at international conferences. One recent project with Dr Graeme Atherton and staff at Universiti Sains Malaysia is the British Council-funded project of the internationalisation activities of ASEAN countries.
