Chi Mai Vu, Senior Officer, Project “Support to the Up-scaling of Wind Power”, GIZ

Ms. Vu Chi Mai is a Senior Project Officer in the Support to the Up-Scaling of Wind Power project, within which she focuses on policy framework strengthening. After more than ten years with GIZ, including six in the Energy sector, Chi Mai gained in-depth knowledge and experiences not only in wind energy but also in renewable energy in general. Before joining GIZ Viet Nam, Chi Mai worked for international development organizations (Oxfam, UNDP...) dealing with social issues, namely anti-human trafficking and civil society in Viet Nam. Working in the development sector enables Chi Mai to deal with different social classes and topics; and thus enriches her life experiences. Besides, working in GIZ helps her to contribute to the development of Viet Nam, both at the macro and micro levels. Chi Mai earned a MSc in Economics from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, Austria. She also got a BSc in French from the National University of Hanoi.
