Huan Nguyen, COO, TIKI.VN

Huan is a Vietnamese native, who immigrated to the U.S in 1992. He began his logistic career as an intern for UPS in 1999 and soon afterwards, officially joined the Company as a hub planner. There, the engineering graduate from University of Washington spent his 10 years of passion and had been thrown into numerous frontline projects that helped UPS excel in service excellence.
In 2010, after mastering process engineering, network planning and operations execution at the logistics giant, Huan was offered the opportunity to be the 6th member of Amazon’s newly-created strategic business unit - now widely known as Amazon Logistics. For 4.5 years moving from function to function within Amazon, Huan took on the challenges to drive down last mile cost, enable vendors to ship stocks to Amazon’s Fulfillment Center at a more affordable expense and improve inbound visibility. His endless “out of the box” creativity made him the owner of countless original initiatives, including: zone skipping, direct injection, local courier delivery, and postal injection. Such operations knowledge is also channeled by Huan into software development and technology solutions that run at the backbone of Amazon. 
In 2015, Huan packed his luggage of logistics knowledge, e-commerce understandings and a passion for service excellence to return to Vietnam. Ever since he joined the start-up community with Giaohangnhanh and Tiki, his work has elevated the service quality standard in the country’s last mile industry, and delighted customers with seamless ecommerce experience. Today, when customers think of Tiki, fast delivery, quality merchandise and hassle-free returns are on the top of their mind.
