Gaurav is a senior Civil Servant in Ministry of Railways with over 28 years of experience in the domains of manufacturing, operations, maintenence and procurement of rolling stocks of Railways and Machineary and Plants. He has been the team leader for exports of railway vehicles to underdeveloped countries. He has successfully executed multidisciplinary turnkey projects for augmentation of capacities in railway workshops. By academia, Gaurav is a Mechanical Engineer and has Masters degrees from Kings College London and National University of Singapore. Also, he is a Chevening Gurukul Fellow of Commonwealth Secretariat of British Government.  Further, Gaurav is a regular speaker in international conferences and has shared his views on contemporary topics in conferences held at London, Brussels, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Johannesburg, Hongkong, Bangkok, Jakarta and New Delhi. He has writen few books and papers in various international journals.
