Proven ability to establish a vision, create organisations, and lead teams to deliver improvements in quality, reliability, cost, and customer satisfaction. I have 29 years of international experience in a wide range of airline fields including: airline operations, fuel, and environmental management, safety, security and quality audits, aircraft design, manufacturing, support, contract management and maintenance. Well versed in industry best practices, developed through such assignments as: the turn-around of Air Namibia, the set-up of the Thomas Cook Airline Group, the establishment of a worldwide Customer Support organisation at Fairchild Dornier and the introduction of a Project Management structure to the Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Company. I also performed a critical role in the set-up of the Lufthansa / Swissair joint venture Shannon Aerospace maintenance facility and appointed Head of Engineering and Planning.
