Proflight Zambia is a scheduled airline operating to 9 domestic destinations and 2 regional.  Proflight was founded in 1991 as a charter company by ex Zambia Airways pilot, Tony Irwin.  The airline’s routes are in tourism and private charters but in 2004 Proflight commenced schedule operations with its own carrier code; P0 and began growing its distribution channels.  

Today Proflight Zambia operates to 11 destinations operating 8 schedule aircraft and distributing through the GDS’, online and through interline partners such as Emirates Airlines, Kenya Airways and Ethiopian Airlines.  Within the Proflight group of companies; ProCharter continues to offer charter flights throughout Zambia and the region with the largest charter fleet in Zambia comprising of over 16 aircraft of various sizes.  Proflight Engineering Services provides maintenance for Proflight and ProCharter aircraft and is approved by the Zambian CAA and the South African CAA.

Tony continues to run Proflight Zambia as the CEO.  Tony was born in Ndola, Zambia and has lived in Zambia for most of his life.  After completing school Tony attended Oxford Air Training College where he graduated top of his class and then joined the National Airline, Zambia Airways as a pilot.  Tony flew for Zambia Airways for 10 years, took a brief contract with Transavia based in the Netherlands and then returned home to start his own charter company; Proflight.
