Dr. Christopher Mansi is a Co-Founder and the Chief Executive Officer at Viz.ai-a medical imaging software company that uses artificial intelligence and deep learning algorithms to analyze medical imaging data and improve medical workflow. Dr. Mansi graduated from University College London with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He completed medical school at the University of Cambridge and, subsequently, went on to perform his neurosurgical training with the National Health Service at Queen Square & King’s College Hospital. His research interests focused on understanding normal and pathological brain functions for neurological disorders such as stroke and epilepsy. While training as a neurosurgeon, Dr. Mansi co-founded two surgical education companies. Success in Dr. Mansi’s early ventures inspired him to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration, which he went on to earn from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. At Stanford, Dr. Mansi completed the Biodesign Program and served as President of the Big Ideas Club. He broadened his research interest to include artificial intelligence and machine learning. In 2015, drawing on his years of experiences in neurosurgery and his knowledge of artificial intelligence, Dr. Mansi started Viz.ai where he is currently working as Chief Executive Officer the change to the field of medical imaging.
