Hugh Mcgarry, Chief Executive Officer, Garnet Consulting

Hugh McGarry is a 35+ year veteran of the ICT industry who has held executive positions in major international companies including, Cable &Wireless, Hewlett Packard BT Infonet, Hong Kong Telecom, as well as start-ups. He has extensive hands on experience in a wide range of disciplines from engineering and project management to establishing and running commercial and technical operations. He has worked and lived in the developed and developing countries of Asia, the Middle East, Europe, the Caribbean and Africa. 
Since returning to Australia 8 years ago and establishing Garnet Consulting he has provided strategic planning services, feasibility studies and technical and commercial advisory and due-diligence services to governments, multi lateral development and commercial banks, and operators in connection with many existing and planned submarine cable systems in the Pacific region.
