The ITP is the UK’s leading independent institution for people who work in telecommunications. It is dedicated to promoting the professional and career development of members through Professional Registration, training, mentoring and qualifications. It keeps members up to date with the latest industry developments through The Journal, podcasts and regional events, as well as hosting workshops, seminars and networking sessions. In 2013 the ITP launched an apprenticeship scheme to recruit, train and mentor apprentices on behalf of partner organisations. Since its launch it has created more than 100 roles across the industry.
