Ruby P. Ramos obtained her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Development Communication from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. She completed the teaching certificate program in early childhood education from De La Salle University Manila. She is finishing her doctoral degree in Educational Management at De La Salle Araneta University. 

She has been serving DLSZ since 1998. She taught lower grades prior to being the assistant principal and principal of the grade school department. She is currently DLSZ's director for administrative services. She also sits as a member of the Board of Trustees of a La Salle-supervised school.

Ms. Ramos has authorized Science textbooks. She has presented research papers on school leadership, school operations, and online systems in local and international conferences and these have appeared in Scopus-indexed journals. She is working on a leadership succession planning and development program for a network of schools.
