CARLEEN S. SEDILLA is currently the Schools Division Superintendent of the Schools Division of Makati City. Previous to her assignment as Superintendent she served as Assistant Schools Division Superintendent of the Schools Division of Taguig and Pateros, and Chief Education Supervisor of the School Governance Operations Division of the Schools Division Office, Caloocan City. She also served as English Program Supervisor for English of SDO Caloocan from 2011- 2015, Principal of Caloocan City Science High School from 2005-2010, and Master Teacher and School Paper Adviser of Macario B. Asistio Sr. High School from 1997-2005. She was also an English instructor at the Philippine Normal University in 1997-1998.
Ms. Sedilla graduated cum laude from PNU in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor in Secondary Education Degree major in English. She earned her Masters of Arts Degree in Education at the Philippine Women’s University, and completed the academic requirements for a Master of Arts degree in English Language Teaching at PNU. She is also a scholar of the Ateneo Center for Educational Development for Principals in 2006. Presently, she is finishing her Doctor in Education degree at the National University. Ms. Sedilla was awarded Most Outstanding Citizen in the field of Education by the City of Caloocan and Most Outstanding Teacher of Caloocan by the Rotary Club in 2004.
