Jessie Robieson, Learning Innovation Specialist, Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa

Jessie is a Learning Innovation Specialist at New Zealand's national museum, Te Papa. Here, she spends a lot of her time in the museums learning lab, Hīnātore, where they work on combining the latest technology and learning innovations with Te Papa's collection items to create new, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences for today's students. Before Te Papa, Jessie was a classroom teacher for 5 years, where she specialised in Middle School Performing Arts, IT and Innovative Learning Environments. She loves to discuss disruptive pedagogy, and look for new and exciting ways to engage students in learning where they might otherwise not find it.
