Jay Khan, Head of Station Strategy and Delivery, Network Rail

Jay is the Head of Stations Strategy and Delivery at Network Rail High Speed Ltd for the past 2 years where the role involves delivering inspirational strategic leadership across three international stations encompassing Operations, Asset management and Facilities. Jay is passionate in delivering World Class service and whole heartedly believe NRHS can truly to transform the Station Experience.
He has amassed 17 years’ experience within customer centric organisations having the opportunity to work as General Manager for Phones 4U, Customer Service Manager at British Airways managing all customer touch points in Heathrow, and Area Manager for Premier Inn where he was accountable for 15 hotels across Central London.
On 20th February 2020 results of the European Railway Station Index compiled by the Consumer Choice Centre which scores Europe’s top 50 railway stations were released. Stations are scored across a maximum of 139 points on criteria such as accessibility, cleanliness, way finding, and the range of destinations served along with choice of retail and first-class lounge facilities. With 116 points St Pancras came out as the top station in Europe
