Antonin Faes, Team Leader at EPFL PV-Lab + Focus Area & Technology Transfer Manager at CSEM, EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne)

Dr. Antonin Faes leads the PV Modules and Reliability team at EPFL's PV-Lab and manages photovoltaics focus areas and technology transfer at the CSEM Sustainable Energy Center in Neuchâtel. A materials science engineer by training, he graduated from EPFL and earned his PhD there in 2010, and today his work centres on advancing solar module technologies and bringing them from research into the solar and energy industry. Active across the field's leading forums, he chaired the 2024 PVinMotion conference on vehicle-integrated PV in Neuchâtel and co-organises the c-Si Metallization & Interconnection Workshop, with research spanning integrated and lightweight PV, silicon, and next-generation perovskite and tandem technologies.
