Oluwole Eweje, Founder and Managing Director, WATT Renewable Corporation

Oluwole Eweje is the Chief Executive Officer of WATT Renewable Corporation, where he leads the development and scaling of distributed renewable energy infrastructure across Africa. With over two decades of experience, he is a seasoned energy and infrastructure executive focused on delivering bankable, high-performance energy solutions that enable businesses and critical infrastructure to transition from diesel dependence to reliable hybrid power systems. At WATT, Oluwole oversees a full energy value chain model—designing, financing, building, owning, and operating energy assets under energy-as-a-service frameworks. His leadership is centred on creating durable infrastructure platforms that deliver predictable cash flows, operational resilience, and measurable impact. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as Chief Operating Officer, where he led project execution, governance, and operational scale-up, embedding systems that support long-term performance and disciplined growth. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles with global organisations including Fluor, Suncor, and North American Construction Group, delivering large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects in complex, capital-intensive environments. Oluwole also brings experience in management consulting, advising public and financial institutions on strategy, performance optimisation, and institutional alignment. He holds a Master’s degree in International Management from the University of London and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School. He is passionate about advancing Africa’s energy transition through infrastructure-led solutions, combining operational rigor, strategic clarity, and long-term value creation.
