GAWIREA (Girls and Women in Renewable Energy Academy) is a youth-centered Indonesian non-profit empowering women and underserved communities through renewable energy education, climate action, and sustainable livelihoods. Since 2021, we have implemented seven community-based projects across Indonesia, reaching 800+ young people through training and clean energy programs. 
 
Our flagship initiative, Wani Yinio Sago House in South Papua, has empowered 70 Indigenous women to earn ~IDR 1,000,000/month through solar-powered cooperative sago processing. Fifteen women hold community leadership roles, 149 households benefit from improved livelihoods, 167 children experience better food security, and 1,500+ youth across Southeast Asia have engaged in renewable energy leadership.
