Muno Battery is a South African deep-tech manufacturer pioneering Africa's transition to next-generation energy storage. To combat regional grid instability and rising operational costs, we produce high-performance Sodium-Ion Batteries (SIBs) engineered for dual-market impact: Electric mobility and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) applications. By leveraging abundant, localised critical minerals, our technology delivers up to a 10-year service life, non-flammable safety, exceptional low-temperature performance and a 5–10% lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) compared to traditional lead-acid systems. We are actively scaling localised production to establish Africa's first SIB Giga Factory, delivering reliable, homegrown energy security.
