Energy Diversions secures the sustainable energy future by making renewable energy reliable. We transform decommissioned mines and large water bodies into grid-scale long-duration energy storage (LDES) plants using our proprietary AerVis™ energy storage platform — a Hydrostatic Buoyancy Energy Storage (HBES) system. Energy Diversions installs modular AerVis ™ chambers inside mine voids or deep lakes that absorb surplus renewable power and deliver firm electricity for hours to days when the grid needs it most. At the same time, we help mine owners convert rehabilitation liabilities into revenue-generating assets. AerVis ™ performance does not degrade over time and has an estimated lifespan of more than 35 years. It avoids reliance on rare minerals and can be manufactured in Australia using recycled materials such as stainless steel and aluminium.
