Mohamed Kassem Franchise Director, Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility Company   Mohamed Kassem is the Franchise Director for Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility Company, the UAE’s first ever e-mobility focused dealership, responsible for identifying and developing franchisee partners and in expanding franchise outlets for brands currently under the company’s portfolio.  Mohamed began his career in 2006 with Al-Futtaim Motors as Toyota Fleet Account Manager and returned to the group in January 2020 as General Manager for Volvo, where he implemented key actions to maximize profitability across all P&L elements and developed operational and transformational strategies to enhance the customer experience. He also enhanced accessories sales from $0 per retail unit sold to $2,200, setting a new benchmark within Al-Futtaim Automotive, and was recognized as the winner in the medium-size distributors category in the 2020 and 2021 Volvo Excellence Club for Importers EMEA. His exceptional performance resulted in him taking over the role of General Manager, Polestar and Emerging Brands before being appointed as Franchise Director.  Mohamed has more than 15 years of Middle East automotive experience in brand, sales, marketing, business and team development with well-known vehicle manufacturers including Audi, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (now Stellantis) and General Motors.   He holds a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
