Dr Richard Tooth is a Director, with the expert services firm Sapere. He works primarily on issues relating to economic policy and regulation across a range of industries that include transport, water, energy, natural resources, insurance, and other financial services. His recent transport work includes engagements on estimating the cost and benefits of public transport for setting of public transport fares, valuing safety and examining the influence of insurers on road safety. His a former President of the NSW Branch of the Economic Society of Australia. He holds a BSc in information science, a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a PhD in economics from UNSW.
