Jane Laverty, Regional Manager, Business NSW

Jane Laverty is a self-confessed regionalist with a personal mission and passion for sustainable economic development and quality community and business engagement in the Northern Rivers.  Jane is currently Regional Manager for Business NSW (NSW Business Chamber) with over 20 years experience in economic development, project management and strategic engagement.  In a previous role, leading economic development and tourism for Byron Shire Council, Jane managed the Byron Bay Town Centre Masterplan Project and the establishment of the Byron Bay Placemaking Seed Fund program.  She is an advocate for collaborative regional development, main streets revitalisation and getting the infrastructure sequencing right for optimum growth strategies.
