Comfort was CEO of one of America's top transit systems, the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) in Baltimore.   Paul has authored six Best Selling Books on public transportation, including the new Amazon #1 Best Seller, “The New Future of Public Transportation” published by SAE. Paul is the host and producer of the world’s top public transportation executive podcast, Transit Unplugged - heard in over 100 countries and of the new Transit Unplugged TV sensation on YouTube He serves as SVP and Chief Customer Officer for the world’s largest transit technology company, Modaxo. Paul is also the Executive Director of the North American Transit Alliance (NATA). Comfort has served as an elected County Commissioner and County Administrator and is an attorney. He is a former Board Member of APTA and the recipient of The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials' (AASHTO) Presidents Award.
