Nick McCarthy Senior Vice President, Global Fleet & Facility Engineering and Sustainability, UPS Nick McCarthy serves as UPS Senior Vice President of Global Fleet & Facility Engineering and Sustainability, leading the strategy, engineering and reliability of one of the world’s largest and most complex transportation networks. Nick is responsible for the performance, modernization and compliance of more than 125,000 vehicles, 2,000 facilities and 35,000 airline ground support equipment worldwide. He leads a global team of more than 10,000 operations and engineering professionals focused on improving reliability while advancing sustainability across domestic and international operations. His work includes deploying facility automation, alternative fuel technologies, connected vehicle systems and predictive maintenance at scale. Nick has led large-scale technology transformations across UPS fleet and facility engineering globally. He has also strengthened regulatory compliance, built global workforce capabilities and aligned fleet and facility strategy with enterprise profitability. Nick serves on the boards of the Atlanta Technical Foundation and Cool Girls of Atlanta and has completed executive development programs through McKinsey and Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
