Matthew E. Chen is Director of Government Affairs for Blink Charging, leading government affairs at the federal level and in the central and eastern United States. Previously, Matt worked for bp America’s public affairs department in various roles from 2012-2021. He was policy assistant and executive communications manager from 2008-2012 for former U.S. ambassador Edward Djerejian, founding director of Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy and a research associate for senior energy fellow Amy Myers Jaffe. He holds a B.A. in history cum laude from Rice University and a Master of International Affairs degree with Distinction from The Australian National University.
